1. Why is February the "Golden Age" for Snowboarding on Kopaonik? ❄️
While we talked about the first steps on Sunčana Dolina in December, February brings something completely different. This is the month with statistically the most snow. The slopes are thick, groomed, and temperatures are ideal for the snow to remain dry and fast.
This is no longer just "learning not to fall". This is time to learn enjoyment in riding, linking turns, and the feeling of freedom that snowboarding provides.
2. Moving to the Next Level: From "Snowplow" to Real Turns 🚀
Many beginners get stuck in the "heel braking" phase (the so-called falling leaf). It's safe, but it's strenuous and slow.
Now, with perfect slopes, our goal is to teach you how to use the edges of the board (edging). That's the moment when the snowboard stops fighting against you and starts "cutting" the snow.
